Attending the AGO Region V convention

AGO Revion V convention

AGO Region V Convention
Kalamazoo, MI

I will be attending the American Guild of Organists (AGO) Region V convention in Kalamazoo, MI from June 30 through July 3rd. Event details can be viewed on the Kalamazoo AGO website.  There will be recitals on 12 pipe organs, workshops, and exhibits. This will be my first pipe organ convention and I am looking forward to it. On the last day we will journey to Battle Creek, MI for the day with the closing concert being held at the W. K. Kellogg Auditorium. I will provide a write up and photos upon my return!

Regional and National AGO Conventions

On even numbered years, the AGO holds a national convention. The 2014 convention will be held in Boston on June 23 – 27, 2014. The website for it is

Hi Heidi,
I just read the information you enclosed about the organ event.
Sounds like something you will really enjoy and will be talking about for awhile.
It even sounds interesting to me, a person who does not play an organ.
